Questions you should ask yourself when you’re 30

By the time we turn 30, we are almost halfway through our average life span. I thought to run a quiz on the questions we should ask ourselves when we are 30. In case anyone wants to try, I have shared the complete list.

1.     What inspires me the most?

So here we go!

What inspires me the most?

I think it has to be my best friends. Nothing has inspired me more than being with positive humans. I have a very small circle of friends, true friends are very difficult to find, am glad I stumbled upon the best ones. Also, my own self, When I look back on the years I have lived, I marvel at the bravery I had, to face them.

What is the definition of success?

Being Content and happy.

If I were to die tomorrow would I feel satisfied with my life?

No.

What is my unique value proposition?

I’m bound to do things differently. I was an imaginative and creative child but life circumstances drifted me to be an MBA in banking and finance with carrier experience of onboarding operations in HR, teacher and briefly being involved in customer service, but the proposition that makes me stand out is no matter what I do I always do it with my tinker skills.

Why do I get up in the morning?

Hope. Hope is the only thing stronger than fear. A little hope is effective a lot of hope is dangerous but that’s what keeps me going.

How much did I learn today?

A little, I learned about the fish-bone structure, what Android phones will stop supporting WhatsApp and that IKEA has an amazing diam cake that I need to try and how to co-sleep with babies.

Who do I love and have I told and show them today?

My best friend and family, yes I do every now and then. Random I love you alerts.

Where will I be in 5 years if I continue down my current path?

Honestly, I can never think of the future for more than a week, I’m very spontaneous, I just like to go with the flow.

Would the 5-year-old me be proud of current me?

Yes very.

Again, I can’t think more than a week.

What is the thing holding me back?

1.      fear

2.      love and

3.      Attachment.

What are you pretending not to know?

Somethings are just not meant for you it’s best to let go.

Why don’t you do things you should be doing?

I earn so I can use that money to do things that I love but I get so tired by the end of the day that I have no energy left to do what I love. Writing this made me really sad. This does not mean I don’t love my job; I only do what I love, but a part of me still misses the dreams my old self left behind.

Yes.

If you achieved all of your life goals how would you feel?

There is always a next goal or a dream that I had to abandon once. one lifetime is too short for achieving everything especially when you don’t know when the time will be up.

What made me laugh today?

A joke on Apocalypse and survival.

If you were dying would you worry about it?

We all are dying anyways but yeah I would.

What would someone know about me after they have worked with me for any year?

It’s very difficult to win my trust.

What would you do one thing if you weren’t scared?

Solo travel.

How much did I learn in 30 years?

  1. love your self
  2. family comes first!
  3. pick your battles.
  4. walk away from things/situations that doesn’t serve you any positivity.
  5. it’s okay to be alone sometimes.
  6. one close friend is a thousand times better than group of fake people.
  7. stay educated.
  8. it’s okay to be dope.
  9. be spontaneous

10. Don’t be afraid to be yourself.
